The Durango Railroad Historical Society will be operating D&RGW Locomotive #315 on the C&TSRR this 2008 Season. Be one of the first to ride this fully restored Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad locomotive on the Cumbres Toltec line this summer - June 16-July 9,2008. June 16 -- Chama to Antonito
Leave Chama with a consist of 3 box cars, coaches and caboose #0579. Pick up six stock cars at Cumbres Pass. Photo run location to be announced. Lunch at Osier then this special train will go onto Antonito. There will be a return to Chama by motorcoach. Cost: $250
June 18--Full Moon Special --Antonito to Osier
Depart Antonito at 5PM with a consist of 3 freight cars and 2 coaches. A special photo shoot by Phantom Curve. Dinner will be at Osier. The train will return to Antonito. Cost: 295
June 21--Friends of the C&TS Special
This will be a special offering sponsored by the Friends of the Cumbres & Totlec Scenic RR. Consist to be announced. Look for details at www.cumbrestoltec.org.
July 4: Locomotive #315 with Special stock car Train with Galloping Goose and #0579 Caboose Cost: $295 Antonito to Osier
July 7: #315 with Galloping Goose with Photo Run-bys Cost: $295 Antonito to Chama with Freight
July 9: #315 Photo Train Chama to Cumbres with bus chase, dropping cars and return to Chama. Second run with freight cars will pick up at Cumbres and return to Chama. Cost: $175
